During the three days, you’ll experience a rich program that goes far beyond regular dance classes. The exact styles and approaches may vary depending on the teachers, but the foundation always stays true to African movement, musicality, and cultural context.

Do I need experience in African dances?

No experience is required. Many dancers join AfroJam with little or no background in African styles. Our teachers break movements down clearly and progressively, allowing beginners to feel comfortable while giving advanced dancers new tools, details, and perspectives to grow further.
